This is a god damn difficult task. We are born in a world of competition, that we learn to “be better than the others”. We strive for medals, we try to be the number one, implying that someone will be number two. In this process we forget something that more important: in the of the day, what really matters is that we are better, that what we were yesterday. All the rest is just an illusion.
I also still fall into this trap. Comparing my abilities to others, my effort, my energy or anything. This creates false ideas about ourselves and misleads us from what we really are. The only real opponent out there is our mirror. The faster we recognize it, the faster we will evolve as human beings.
Truth!
